WE ARE ZOO CO
Zoo Co is a multi-award winning theatre company based in Croydon. We became an Arts Council NPO in Spring 2023. We make innovative, bold, electric live theatre for audiences across the UK and around the world.
At our core, we set out to make theatre which responds to what is alive in us as artists, and in our communities. We use bold, playful, highly visual, ensemble-led and democratic approaches to co-create our shows with the artists and communities involved. Our creative practice includes improvisation, Open Space, devising, and new writing.

ZOO CO YOUNG COMPANY
Zoo Co Young Company is for 14 - 18 year-olds interested in Theatre and Performing Arts as a hobby or career. This is an opportunity for young people to devise a professional show as a company which will be performed as part of the London Borough of Culture. The participants will co-create a show whilst developing their creative performance skills, learning Zoo Co’s theatre practice and creating accessible theatre.
The workshops will be led by Zoo Co’s Artistic Director Flo O'Mahony. Theatre practitioners and industry professionals will lead guest workshops allowing the participants to gain a broad range of skills during your/their time with us.
We are now casting for our new show which will be written and directed by industry professional artists! Rehearsals will take place over the next 3 terms with the performances in the summer of 2024, contact us to apply.
