C3 PROGRAMME

Zoo Co runs four locality studios each week, in schools and community spaces around Croydon.

All our workshops use a co-creation model to create a performance led by the participants in the group.

Croydon Young Performers offers young people aged 8 - 18 workshops and training in contemporary performing arts. These are on Tuesdays during term time at Oasis Academy Shirley Park. The 5pm - 6pm sessions are for 8 - 13-year-olds and 6.15 - 7.30 pm sessions for 14 - 18-year-olds.

Our Access Studio is led at Waddon Youth and Community Centre for young people with varying access needs, 13 - 25 years old. These are every Thursday (during term time) 5 - 7 pm.

New Addington Centre is for 8 - 11-year-olds with special educational needs attending Merdian School. Young performers improve their acting and storytelling skills. Working with a theatre director our young companies make their own plays and share their stories.
