Across 6 (mostly) glorious days in August, Zoo Co brought a theatre tent to Surrey Street Market in Croydon. From Poetry Takeout to a Puppet Zoo, dancing Drag Kings to a MESSY mayhem of a show, we had an incredible time meeting over 1,000 people from all over Croydon, and beyond! We only got rained off once and even then the Croydon audiences kept cheering. The big finale was the Surrey Street Experience: a live response to our time on the market, including a gallery of poems and paintings, a live artist and the video above made by Zoo Animal Nick. Take a look, it really does encapsulate what an incredible place Surrey Street and indeed Croydon is!
