THE HIVE
The play is set in an imagined past, where World War 2 results in global nuclear fall out rendering the earth's surface uninhabitable, and where the survivors have been forced to move underground. Exploring the worlds of technology and themes of alienation, The Hive unveils what happens when drones in a tiny cell begin to think for themselves. The Hive was Zoo Co's debut show and won the Les Enfants Terribles Award in 2014 meaning they were automatically given a slot at the Pleasance for the Edinburgh Fringe.
The Hive’s exploration of the breaking of the mental and physical barriers of this dystopian world is utterly compelling.
